Probly, son.

May as well give him a go but generally speaking I'd prefer we play our own players.

I've never had a problem with Demel.

He may be needed to offset the pace deficit caused by the return of Nolan.
I'm presuming Usain Bolt isn't available

I agree, don't mind Demel but Jenkinson added something else against Man U

With DeBuchy (even though he is currently injured) and now Chambers I can't imagine Jenkinson ever being first choice for Arsenal so will be allowed to leave you'd guess.
I'd like us to sort out a permanent right back owned by us for the long term as we appear to be doing with Cresswell on the left.

Re: Time for Carl Jenkinson to start?
I like what Demel brings to the team...BUT...He clearly cant last a game and it always seems a waste of a sub when he has to come off. Time for Jenkinson to show us what he has got!

How can you start a player who you know will always be subbed at 60 mins?

Sunday league stuff isn’t it.
Waste of a sub

Re: Time for Carl Jenkinson to start?
With Jenko on the right and Cressers on the left we may FINALLY have a good young pair of full backs who should only improve. Sorted. As said, it's hard to see a future for Jenks at Arse.

Has to start imo. Him and Cresswell would cause all sorts of problems Sunday.

All sorts of bother

Re: Time for Carl Jenkinson to start?
Jinky Jenks down the right thinking he's Timmy Breaker on a surge forward.

I'd start him.

Re: Time for Carl Jenkinson to start?
Ironic that with two of the best full backs we've had in yrs who can whip in some great crosses our big target man is crocked!

Jenkins in on Sunday and a good win I reckon

JENKS!

Re: Time for Carl Jenkinson to start?
In fairness, I don't think it has been a waste of a sub, Demel seems to be more solid defensively and is decent going forward, but bringing on Jenkinson is a good attacking move as he has been causing other fullbacks all sorts of problems. Let's face it, if he brought on Vaz Te we'd all say it's a poor decision.

Not to mention Jenko's been injured and not fully fit.
